CACESCO Foundation in Mexico

Between the days 20th and 22th February 2019 took place the founding ceremony of the Central American and Caribbean Confederation of Esports (CACESCO - CONCECARES).
Representing PAMESCO and WESCO, Mr. Daniel Cossi attended the founding of the Central American and Caribbean Esports Confederation CACESCO or in Latam CONCECARES). The organization will be under the umbrella of the Pan American Esports Confederation (PAMESCO) and the World Esports Consortium (WESCO).
It was accepted and elected Mr Jose Ramirez, president of CACESCO. The foundation also had the participation of the President of the Olympic Committee of the Americas and the Caribbean, Mr. Steve Stoute, and Mr. Felipe Munhoz, former president of the Mexican Olympic Committee, as well as Dr. Mario Ramirez, President of the Mexican Federation of Chess in addition to the presence of Mr. Ismael and Mr. Gustavo Rodrigues presidents Mexican Federation of Esports (FEMES), besides the event was official of the Mexican Confederation of Sports.
With the full support of these bodies and recognized by the Mexican government, FEMES (Mexican Federation of Esports) had direct assistance from CBDEL and Mr. Daniel Cossi when it was founded between 2016 and 2017. The institutional support and recognition by PAMESCO and WESCO made FEMES the entity of administration of the electronic sport of Mexico.
In that event there was the formal foundation in a general assembly conceived and held on the 21st and the same day at dusk there was the announcement for the media and celebration event of both FEMES and CACESCO.
I am proud and honored to have given the support and recognition to this new Confederation, and that the friends of Mexico especially the new president of CACESCO, Mr. Jose Romero, and Mr. Gustavo Rodriguez, Secretary General of FEMES, and especially Mr. Steve Stoute , president of the Olympic Committee of the Americas and the Caribbean, in addition to the full cooperation of Mr. Felipe Munhoz, former president of the Mexican Olympic Committee in the founding of this new Confederation.
A giant step towards the recognition and regulation of electronic sport in the world.
In the event many Mexican and foreign athletes were present as well as a large part of sports media and general news and entertainment.
Another 10 countries from the Central American and Caribbean region participated in the founding of CACESCO, its secretaries-general and / or presidents were formally in the assembly that was attended by the Official Notary of Santa Fe, Mexico.
