Terms of Pages

Terms of WESCO Pages

The following terms, as well as our Data Use Policy and Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, apply to all WESCO Pages. In addition, all content on the Pages must conform to our Community Standards. You are responsible for ensuring that your Page is in compliance with all applicable laws, statutes, and regulations.

  2. A Page of a trademark, entity (local or organization) or public figure may only be administered by an authorized representative of the trademark, entity (local or organization) or public figure (an "Official Page").
  3. Any user may create a Page to express support or interest in a brand, entity (location or organization) or public figure, provided that this does not lead to the error of believing that this is an Official Page or as long as it does not violate the rights of someone. If your Page is not the official Page of a brand, entity (local or organization) or public figure, you must:
  4. refrain from speaking or publishing content on behalf of the authorized representative of the content of the Page; and
  5. make it clear that yours is not the official website of the brand, entity (local or organization) or public figure.
  6. Content posted on a Page is public and visible to anyone who can see the page.
  7. You must restrict access to the Pages (through our blocking functionality) as necessary to comply with applicable laws and WESCO policies, including Community Standards.

  10. WESCO Web page and Web page names

Page names and WESCO web addresses should accurately reflect the content of the Page. We may remove your administrative rights or require you to change the name of the Page and the WESCO Web address of any Page that does not meet this requirement.

  2. use inappropriate and grammatically incorrect capitalization, or use only capital letters, except for acronyms;

iii. include character symbols such as excessive punctuation and trademark designations;

  1. include superfluous descriptions or unnecessary qualifiers;
  2. mislead to believe that this is the official Website of the authorized content representative or that it is authorized by the aforementioned representative; nor

saw. violate one's rights.

  1. Changes of names and migrations

We will only process name and migration changes that do not result in a misleading or unwanted connection. For example, we will allow local migrations to global, such as "WESCO France" to "WESCO", but we will not allow global migrations to local or site-to-site migrations, from "WESCO France" to "WESCO Russia". Additionally, you can not request a name change or a migration that results in the re-categorization of a Product Page such as a Brand Page, Generic Page, or opinion as a Brand Page, or a Group as a Page. All migrations are made according to our criteria and are final.

  1. Data collection

If you collect content and information directly from users, it should be clear that you are collecting this data (not WESCO), and you must provide notice and obtain user consent to use the content and information you collect. Regardless of how you obtain content and information from users, you will be responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions to reuse such content and information.
