Hosting the WESCO Esports Summit and also the WESCO University Championship, IDE Expo and CECC - China Electronics Chamber of Commerce will be the main event to all members of WESCO and our partnerships.

WIth the support of the IDE Expo and CECC, the Esports Summit will bring together esports stakeholders from many different parts. Non for profit organizations working in a regional and national range regulating and/or governing esports in their regions, private companies, governs and other stakeholders will be part of the summit.

The Vice-president of ASIAN REGION at WESCO, mr. Kenneth Chang, said that "This will be great to WESCO and also to the companies and people attending the Summit, to make possible a better understanding of the next steps of the esports in a way to engage all the people involved in this ecosystem, China supports this enterprise 100%".

Daniel Cossi, president of WESCO told us about the meaning of this event: "This esports summit means a fresh start to all the esports stakeholders, after the IOC Esports Forum, we are sure that our path is the right one. I love China and I always had the support from this incredible nation, always ahead of our time especially when it comes to Esports, I thank CECC who has now an Esports Commission, the mayor of the city of Shijiazhuang, province of Hebei, the Sports Information Center of General Administration of Sports of China and the Ministry of Sports of China".

Together with the Esports Summit, at the same venue, WESCO will run the World University Esports Championship, bringing together student from different countries attending the competition. The franchises will be: FIFA 2018, Hearthstone and NBA2K with the platform Playstation 4 and Mobile. They will be broadcasted to different languages (chinese, english and portuguese) using Twitch and Youtube.

And to make it all better we will have the 2018 International Digital Economy (IDE Expo) with the major technology, hardware, software and telecom companies and the Finals of The Chinese University Esports League (CUEL).

In order to execute fully the national policy of developing digital economic and constructing the Xiongan New Area, bring forward the innovation of the industry, supported by National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Commerce, State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, Hebei Provincial People’s Government and co-hosted by China Electronics Chamber of Commerce, China Network Organization, China International Electronic Commerce Center, China Netcasting Services Association and Shijiazhuang Municipal People’s Government, 2018 International Digital Economy Expo will be held on 20th -22nd, September 2018, Shijiazhuang, China at the Shijiazhuang International Exhibition Center.
