The general news about WESCO e and the Esports around the world

WESCO creates Women in Esports Commission

The main objective is to present and protect the integrity of women as athletes in esports. Study, elaborate guidelines and safeguarding documents and support their participation equaly.

As Head of Women in Esports Commission, Mrs. Marta Muñoz, from Spain, has developed the program and guidelines that will make the commission works towards what will be the best practices and policy ofr WESCO, as follows:

Achieving gender equity in esports practices

STRATEGIC LINES WOMEN ESPORTS

LE1 (Improvements) Create internal and external mechanisms to strengthen the equity of

gender in esports.

LE2 (Maintain) Education of the stakeholders (community) of esports in the field of

equity.

LE3 (Avoid) Fight against harassment and discrimination in esports.

LE4 (Take advantage) Promote the ac va par cipa on and visualization of women in all

esports areas.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES WOMAN ESPORTS

LE1 Create internal and external mechanisms to strengthen gender equality in the

esports.

MO111 Creation of the equity division (Institutionalized and regionalized).

MO112 Signature and adherence to the Brighton Declaration 94

MO113 Preparation and implementation of an internal equity plan.

MO114 Implementation of equity plan in WESCO members

SO12 Lead an institutional alliance in the esports sector to ensure equity

of genre

SO13 Promote studies that help to identify discriminatory behaviors and

lay the foundations for an improvement in gender equity.
