For the first time a certified and graduated university course is approved and made by EUCENT - Barcelona and WESCO. The partnershhip was signed on December 2020.

Any industry requires highly skilled professionals to meet its challenges, and in a nascent and growing industry like our eSports, these professionals are essential. And we are working together with the education ecosystem and our industry to prepare and train our professionals for the future.

As a result of this work, we present the first agreement we have reached with one of the best and most prestigious university institutions in Europe: The EUNCET - UPC in Barcelona, ​​with an international presence and more than 35 years of experience.

We have been able to validate the first master’s education program in the field of eSports offered by EUNCET virtually, becoming the first official and WESCO-approved degree.

The agreement and partnership was supported and conducted by WESCO's Ediucation Committee and its Head, Mr. Daniel Cordoba.

WESCO is proud to have the first ever international esports course certified by an university in the world, and together with WESCO's IESU (International Esports University programm) and our Educational Committee, we will offer free, regulated and certififed courses, offline and online to those interested in following carriers from the ecosystem of the esports, says the President and Chairman of WESCO.
