The president is the top person in command in an organization. Presidents are expected to provide the overall leadership in an organization and they provide direction for the actions of all other collaborators.
Coordinate their region and enforce WESCO's goals. Identify region opportunities for growth interacting with Country Representative, Marketing and Operations. Ensure conformance and integrity for region and practice performance aspects.
The individuals who are selected to be on the board of directors of a corporation have overall responsibility for the activities of the corporation. A corporate board is not responsible for the day-to-day decision-making; the daily decisions are made by the vice-presidents and the president. The corporate officers are the people who head departments, and these executives are responsible for running the business.
For a Board of Directors to do its work effectively, it is necessary that members understand their individual responsibilities and that the board organizes itself to perform the necessary tasks effectively. Committees or working groups are the answer. Through committees, work can be divided so that far more can be accomplished than if the entire board acted on all matters. Committees provide organizational structure, and at the same time allow enough flexibility so the board can adapt quickly to the changing demands of the environment.
Secretary-General is the main person responsible for all things relating to the conference we're hosting. This involves conference logistics, planning and budgeting, recruiting staff, inviting schools and being the point of contact for schools, purchasing food and selecting the topics/committees. They preside over the conference the day of, talk to advisers, meet people's concerns, manage the staff and their duties, and are there to make sure it goes smoothly, connecting the presidency and the board of directors.
The Regional Advisory Board acts like a connections between the regions and their countries need to kow and understand to better promote and protect the esports athletes and their environment. It also acts like a body to discuss the regulations, legislations and promotion of Esports in each country of their respective regions.
The members are divided in two categories and these two categories are divided in other categories. There are non-for-profit members, most of them confederations, federations or associations or leagues taking the lead as governing bodies, and for-profit members, most of them private companies who participate in one or more areas of the esports supply chain such as hardware companies (monitors, keyboards), software companies (developers, publishers), marketing (sports mkt), hotels and meals and etc
