More than 100 member units have been recruited and initiated, the relevant documents, articles of association and various regulations of the special committee have been improved, and the future development direction and work ideas have been clarified, and on October 2023, 10, with the consent of the China Electronic Chamber of Commerce, the China Electronic Chamber of Commerce initiated the establishment of the Digital Sports and E-sports Professional Committee of the China Electronic Chamber of Commerce (hereinafter referred to as the Special Committee) The preparatory meeting of the China Electronic Chamber of Commerce was successfully held.

First of all, Comrade Wang Wenyi, former director of the operation and management department of the National Olympic Sports Center and head of the preparatory team of the special committee, took the lead in delivering a speech for everyone, he made various explanations on the preliminary preparatory work of the special committee, recalled that since the establishment of the preparatory meeting at the end of July this year, the special committee will continue to strengthen communication and exchanges between the government and enterprises, scientific research, colleges and universities in its future work.

The meeting was chaired by Zhang Ting, Executive Secretary-General of the Preparatory Group of the Digital Sports and E-sports Special Committee of the China Electronic Chamber of Commerce.

We will make every effort to promote the sports industry to accelerate the application of new digital technologies such as mobile Internet, big data, artificial intelligence, and blockchain, actively carry out industry activities, and promote the cross-border integration of the sports industry and the e-sports industry with other industries.

Comrade Peng Lihui, Secretary-General of the China Electronic Chamber of Commerce, put forward constructive opinions for the work of the special committee, emphasizing that the special committee needs to actively guide the orderly and standardized development of the industry, gradually establish industry standards, and carry out industry self-discipline and management; In accordance with the requirements of relevant national laws, regulations and policies, implement and protect the legitimate rights and interests of members. Give play to the role of bridge between members and government departments, promote and participate in the establishment of corresponding national standards, industry standards, norms and self-discipline conventions or guidelines in the industry, and publicize and implement them.

Liu Ming, business director of Beijing Olympic Economic and Technological Development Co., Ltd., also spoke on behalf of the special committee and said: the special committee will assist relevant government departments to standardize, guide, serve and supervise the industry, do a good job in industry self-discipline and management, mediate business disputes between members, and establish a fair, open and just market competition environment; Protect the legitimate rights and interests of members in accordance with national policies and regulations, and safeguard the overall interests of the digital sports and e-sports industry.

The conference also discussed the working regulations, future work plans, member management measures and other related topics of the special committee, and read out the list of initiating members.

Comrade Zhang Yang, representative of Beijing Olympic Economic and Technological Development Co., Ltd., and Comrade Qu Zhengchao, director of Zhuhai Huaao E-sports Development Center, made wonderful speeches on the development of digital sports and the prospects of e-sports, and representatives of other member units attending the meeting also spoke freely and offered suggestions for the preparation of the special committee to share experiences.

The preparatory meeting of the Digital Sports and E-sports Professional Committee of the China Electronic Chamber of Commerce was successfully held, and the inaugural meeting will be held before the end of the year.
