WESCO
World Esports Consortium, a mixed organization with two parts.
WESCO The Company
The private part: business with peers and affiliates and the commercial side of the network.
WESCO The Institute
The non-profit part: social, educational and cultural projects.
Regional Vice President
Senior WESCO representative in one territory.
Leader
Continental figure who works beside the Vice Presidents, brings a continental and cultural view, and inspires. Not a Vice President.
ACES
African Confederation of Electronic Sports, founded in Casablanca in 2023.
PAMESCO
Pan-American Esports Confederation, the continental body for the Americas.
CECC
China Electronics Chamber of Commerce, WESCO’s largest partner.
PEGT
The national esports league of China, built with the Poly Group.
CEIES
Center for education, innovation and inclusion.
ZEUS 3.0
WESCO’s administration and management platform for federations, leagues, clubs and event organizers, built with Grupo Comercial y Tecnológico.
WCA
World Cyber Arena, the Chinese esports championship that WESCO endorsed and took part in from 2016 to 2019.
Esports
Always written with a capital E. In Portuguese, also “Esportes Digitais”. Never “eSports”.
Digital sports
The wider field: Esports, virtual, simulated and metaverse sports.
